Up until the Fall of 2005, I had been a chiropractic skeptic. My philosophy was such that I referred to them as “quackopractors”, not believing in the claims they made to be able to work with the body, enabling healing of a wide variety of ailments. I thought their view of “medicine and surgery was not always necessary, except in some cases”, was nothing short of malpractice!
In the Fall of 2005, at the urging of a friend, I went to see Dr. Wooten with a long list of complaints and because I was tired of having to take so much medicine. I suffered from severe migraines, extremely difficult menstrual cycles, chronic low back pain and seasonal allergies, which lead to yearly bouts of sinus infections and bronchitis and lots of antibiotics.
I was surprised at the first visit. It was not the typical “crack the bones” that I had always heard of, but a very thorough diagnostic visit without an adjustment that first day! I went back the following day for the adjustment and was pleasantly surprised by Dr. Wooten’s methods and manner. I will admit that the second day I had some discomfort, but he had already explained that was to be expected and as he alleviated one symptom, others would come to surface, as my body’s natural way of revealing what else needed to be healed. It was an amazing process.
After each adjustment, I could truly feel a difference and after just one month of regular weekly adjustments, I was able to toss out my allergy medicine! Not long after that, my menstrual cycle became less severe and my migraines became close to non-existent. In addition, I am an avid golfer and Dr. Wooten was able to remove all shoulder pain with his new equipment and just a few treatments.
I have also been privy to his Reiki therapy when I have had 3 extremely debilitating migraines. This is a form of therapy in which he can discuss with you at length and explain exactly how it works.
I now only see Dr. Wooten for maintenance adjustments and have been free of my original list of complaints for several years now!
